Gold Easter Tablescape: DIY giant paper flowers, diy gold bunnies, and lots of pretty spring pastels create the perfect Easter table.
I'm excited to share my gold and pastel Easter table with you, and hope you find it as pretty as I do.
Gold Cutlery
I shared last time with you how I've fallen hard for gold. I'd been admiring this cutlery for ages, but wasn't sure I should take the plunge. My very sweet husband surprised me with it for Christmas. Unfortunately it was out of stock, but he again surprised me on Valentine's Day by arranging to have someone pick it up while they were travelling in the US, and bring it home to for me. He joked that he was getting very good mileage out of this one gift. I love it, and it inspired the gold themed Easter table.
Giant Paper Flowers
I also wanted to include the gorgeous paper flowers, like the ones I made for my mantel. Find our full tutorial with a video on how to make giant paper flowers here.
So I made more for the dining table and created a runner out of them. I love how they turned out.
I used all the same shapes, but this time I sprayed some of the brown paper ones with a little gold spray paint. I also painted some with water colours again.
I tucked in a few gold candles, and layered it all on a pretty pink runner.
DIY Gold Bunnies
One of my very favourite little details are the golden bunnies.
I found inexpensive toy bunnies at the dollar store, and spray painted them gold. I just love how they turned out. They look so cute on each plate and tucked amongst the flowers on the table.
I hope your Easter is golden too.
With a beautiful gold and pastel Easter tablescape, life really is a party!
