Neutral Fall Home Tour: full of neutral fall decor like white pumpkins, birch logs, cozy knits, and candles bring fall in whites and creams.
Jump to:
Fall is a real favourite of mine, and I love decorating to celebrate the season. This year I'm sharing lots of neutral fall decor, but you might find a few traditional fall colours here and there, like on the front porch.
I had so much fun making these little fall fairy gardens to greet my guests -you can learn all about how I made them here.
It’s gotten chilly outside the last day or so, so do come right in.
Dining Room
At our front door we have this little console table, all decorated for fall. I used lots of pumpkins every where this year, love this pretty green squash mixed in with some faux ones.
These mason jar oil lamps are waiting for a dark night, and there's a little bowl of butterscotch candies. My grandma always had a bowl of candy by the front door. Her’s were in a covered glass dish and usually chocolates…remember rosebuds? I’m not a real chocolate girl, but I always like to have a little bowl of candy at the front door and it always makes me think of her.
The dining room is full of neutral fall decor this years, and I’m loving all the white and creams together.
I picked up this long wooden box at an outdoor antique fair in September and thought it would look great when I got it home filled up with little pumpkins. It was filled with tools when I found it, and I had to convince the man to sell me just the box.
There was a fair bit of haggling, and in the end I told him my plan to fill it with pumpkins and put it on my dining room table and he smiled as he dumped out his tools.
We have lots of oak trees on our street, so I picked a few branches on my way home from running errands today. Love the shape of their leaves.
Buffet
On the buffet at the end of the room a few more great vintage pieces. I’m loving the look of the tarnished silver with all the white pumpkins.
This pretty pumpkin with the book page roses is from a few years ago, you find the tutorial for it here.
More book pages up above on the branch -a pretty garland of stitched book paper leaves see how I made them here.
Neutral Fall Decor in the Living Room
And into the living room next.
I’m so pleased with this new hanging pendant light.
It’s the perfect little update for this spot.
I’m loving my squirrels, oak leaves, acorns this fall.
And here’s what’s sure to be the last of the pompom marigolds from my garden.
Neutral Fall Mantel
The centre piece of the mantel this year is this white wooden tool box. I got such a good deal on the wooden tray for the dining room table, that I ended up buying this as well -ha. I love a little haggling. And I think it looks great filled up with a pretty vintage wool blanket, birch logs, cotton blossoms and more white pumpkins.
Down on the ground, more of the same (let’s just hope my new puppy doesn’t take a bite out of the pumpkins).
Neutral Fall Decor in the Kitchen
And last but not least, into the kitchen for a treat.
On the table I’ve set up some pumpkins smores.
Find my recipe for the delicious caramel pumpkin butter here -the perfect addition to fall smores made over a candle.
Today it was the perfect after school snack for my girls on this chilly rainy day.
And behind the table is a great spot for a few more pumpkins.
I’ll be sharing a tutorial for these driftwood pumpkins and velvet pumpkins next week. They're easy to make and so cute.
With the house all decorated for fall, life really is a party!
I’m so glad you stopped by for my little fall tour, and I'd love for you stop by and visit with all my friends.

This looks fabulous Dannyelle! Love the sweet fairy gardens on your porch. The wooden tool box was a great buy. I wouldn't have thought to put it on the mantle but it looks perfect there. And the smores tray is such a great idea!

Squeeee, I must admit I was so excited to see your tour! Your touch is so lovely! I adore how you have vintage treasures sprinkled here and there, the casual creates beside that cozy grey chair!!!! The rose covered pumpkin is sweet! I think I might have brought the tools home with that gorgeous box (I'm a weirdo for old tools), it's absolutely perfect filled with mini pumpkins! Everything is just beautiful!
