Cozy Christmas Bedroom: Linen and chunky knits, Christmas tree, candles, and a Christmas gallery wall help create a cozy space for Christmas.

This Christmas I wanted our master bedroom to feel extra cozy. So I kept the word cozy in mind as I planned our bedroom Christmas decor this year. I'm imagining snuggling up here with a book, or a Christmas movie during the holiday season. We're taking two weeks off together over Christmas and I cannot wait.
The color palette this Christmas season is white and cream, with some natural elements like fresh pine. It's perfect for creating a cozy, calm feel this time of year. I'm not a big fan of traditional colors for Christmas. I don't like bright reds. For me a neutral space like this is the perfect relaxing festive feel, like a snowy winter wonderland.
A Tree In The Bedroom
I loved having a tree in our bedroom for Christmas last year, so I put this one up again this year. It hasn't got any decorations on it, just the pretty white lights and some yarn I used as a garland. I love how the yarn adds to the cozy, snuggly feel in the room. An undecorated tree with no Christmas decorations on it, and just lights in an easy way to add the holiday spirit to the room. The Christmas lights are perfect at night, with all the other lights out.
The Bed
On our bed I added in some cozy chunky knit accent pillows, some sheep ones too and our favourite chunky knit throw blanket at the end of the bed. The color scheme here is whites and creams, with our regular white bedding, and feels very winter wonderland. Our linen duvet cover and pillow covers have such a cozy texture. The knit and sheepskin throw pillows help with all the festive spirit and hygge vibes on a cold night. No need for Christmas bedding, when neutrals work so well year round.
The tv is on the opposite wall -let the relaxing begin! What's better than a cheesy Hallmark movie to enjoy snuggled up in bed, by the light of the Christmas tree?
Bedside Tables
On the bedside tables I added my DIY Fair Isle Sweater Candle Lanterns that I made last Christmas -you can find the tutorial here. They're so cute with some faux snow in them for a festive touch. They look great all winter long, and the candle light is always nice. And behind you can see a pretty cream knit stocking waiting for Santa to fill it Christmas Eve.
Bedroom Chair
And on that same side of the room our chair is looking cozy too, with extra pillows, a cozy throw, and a sheepskin rug, a faux fur rug would work great here too. And the presents are starting to pile up too! This is the perfect place to read a good book.
Above the chair, I added in one of the art pieces from our Etsy shop -you can find it here. The sentiment is perfect for this space. It's layered with some homemade star garland, cut out of old books for texture, its the perfect holiday decor. It's layered with a pretty pompom garland in cream and wood, reminding us that neutral bedrooms can still look festive.
Christmas Gallery Wall
Over on the other side of the room our gallery wall art got a little festive love too.
I changed out a few of the really summer-y pieces of art -you can see what it normally looks like here. I just printed a few pieces from one of my favourite free photography sites unsplash. And then I hung a little more diy garland. The snowy art is a great addition all winter long, and can be easy swapped back out in the summer months.
On The Dresser
On the dresser there are more candles, and a fresh branch from one of the pine trees that grows in the forest behind our house. Fresh evergreen garland always makes a mess, but having some in a vase like this with fresh water doesn't shed nearly as much. It's a great way to add that fresh real tree scent.
Over on the other side of the dresser I made some fun little winter snow-globe-ish displays in these glass apothecary jars.
I added some faux snow, a few little ceramic houses, fairy lights, and a white miniature Christmas tree. Bottle brush trees are a favorite of mine, and this is a great idea to display them. Also on the dresser are a few birch sticks, because I love to include natural elements as part of my Christmas ornaments, and also some pretty gold string lights, that look so pretty at night.
Bedside Table
We've worked our way around the room and we're back to the bedside table on the other side. This vintage alarm clock collection is one of my favourites and looks great any season.
I'm looking forward to some relaxing days and nights over the holidays here in this perfect spot.
And many, many cups of tea in my new Santa mugs, along with Christmas cookies, candy canes, and chocolates snuggled up here with my bed tray, and my favourite people, and doggy.
With these cozy Christmas bedroom decorations, life really is a party! Merry Christmas.
