Cozy Coffee Table Date
This cozy romantic dinner works out great at a coffee table in your living room. Set things up so you can sit on the couch together or add lots of throw pillows to the floor, maybe even a cozy sheepskin rug. Set the stage for romance and a time of special connection with one another at a cozy and intimate table.
DIY Table Runner
If you like DIYs, use some plain craft paper to make a table runner. Use craft paint to add X's and O's or hearts in a simple hand drawn pattern. Or find some pretty wrapping paper to use as table runner. The runner will add a little interest to the table and be easy for clean up, since fondue can be a little drippy.
Fresh Flowers and Candles
It won't be date night without fresh flowers, candles and chocolate. We've got chocolate covered with dessert. Pick up some fresh flowers and add them to the table in a pretty vase to add a little romance to the setting. Don't forget to give the stems a fresh cut and use the flower preserve that comes with the flowers to extend their life. Light some candles or battery powered twinkle lights or string lights to create the perfect romantic atmosphere. These little touches add so much to a creating a romantic cozy date night.

Fondue Date Night Menu
Cheese Fondue with roasted potatoes and asparagus, and other dippers.
For our date night we had a classic cheese fondue for our main course. All our the recipes for this date night are easy recipes. What could be better than enjoying melted cheese with an array of yummy dippers? You can use a traditional fondue melting pot for this recipe, or a electric fondue pot, even a small crockpot works well with an extension cord. Don't forget the fondue forks as well. Below are our suggestions for dippers for your date night cheese fondue. You we liked including potatoes, some different meats, and veggies for a complete meal. We loved the granny smith apples for that sweet and salty combo. Just remember to coat them with a little lemon juice so that they don't turn brown.
