Boho Summer Home Tour: we've added in lots of plants, wicker baskets, candles, brass, fringe, and macrame for the perfect relaxed boho summer decor.

I'm excited to share my summer home tour with you today. Things are kind of laid back and relaxed. I've been spending so much time in the garden, that I wanted to keep things kind of simple in here. I've added in some pretty pink for summer, and definitely a fun boho vibe.
Dining Room
So come in, and let's start at the front door. I've changed up my front console table a little with the addition of these fun bird mirrors. I bought these years and years ago, and they were here up until I redid the dining room -see the reveal here. I wanted to change it up a little for summer and remembered that I still had them, so I decided to put them back up. After all these years I still love them, and think they look great here. Also I added some faux succulents and moss to these vintage jars to make some terrariums and I love them.
Over on my little bar cart, I kept all the pretty plants from spring. Instead of cocktails it will be plants here all summer!
I wanted to keep the dining room table pretty simple so I added my macrame runner for more of that boho feel, and a large centrepiece on the table.
The wooden bowl is an antique find from years ago, and I filled it with moss and faux succulents for summer.
My green accent is still going strong -you can read all about how we did it with a stencil here.
I loved the paper flowers that we made for spring so much, I kept them for spring. They are all hand made from streamers and crepe paper, and were a labour of love. You can find some details and links to tutorials we used here.
Living Room
Over into the living room it's light and bright for summer.
The couch is ready for all the summer movie nights.
The boho look continues with a mix of pillows, and lots of fringe and tassels, plants, candles and brass.
Our mantel this summer is eclectic and fun for summer. I worked on it first and it helped set the tone for the whole space.
You can read more specifics about our summer boho mantel here.
Kitchen
And now into the kitchen.
I've added a fun basket wall to the kitchen this summer. I had fun when the thrift stores re-opened in my area finding all these pretty baskets.
We used command hooks to put them up, so they'll be easy to change later. I love all the warm texture they add to the space.
On the cabinet I've add a few more boho inspired pieces -plants, brass, garden clippings, and candles are on repeat over here this summer.
And on the kitchen table things are simple and easy for summer. This little antique tray is filled with small vintage glass bottles and all the pretty garden flowers.
Over on the shelves I've added lots of fun touches for summer. It's a mix of vintage finds, touches of pink, plants, and some new macrame bunting.
These shelves have become such a favourite to decorate. See exactly how we made them from plumping supplies here.
My biggest challenge will be to remember to water the plants on the highest shelves.
One of my favourites in summer is being able to clip flowers whenever I want from my garden. And there are so many pretty flowers right now.
I've made a little propagation station here too. This is my first time trying to root plant cuttings in water so we'll see how it goes.
We're all ready for summer here. My girls are finishing up their last days of on-line learning, we managed to book a few days away at a nearby beach in July to look forward to, and we're spending our days in the garden. Things are starting to open up a little after all the Corona restrictions here, and we're so excited to get to have a small bubble of close friends to be with again. Absence really does make the heart grow fonder.
With a pretty summer home tour like this one, life really is a party!
